Opening Hours on Ile de la Cite

The ile is a residential district and hence roads to and from it are open at all times, however of course some of the major items that you may wish to visit do have their own hours. Here are the major ones:
Notre-Dame Cathedral – Reopened December 2024. As of June 2025, open Monday–Friday 7:50am–7pm (Thursday until 10pm), Saturday–Sunday 8:15am–7:15pm. Last entry 30 minutes before closing. No longer under restoration; fully open to visitors.
Sainte-Chapelle – Summer (April 1–Sept 30): 9am–7pm; Winter (Oct 1–Mar 31): 9am–5pm. Closed Jan 1, May 1, Dec 25. Last entry 40 minutes before closing. Tickets: €19 (except Wednesdays: €13); Combined Sainte-Chapelle/Conciergerie: €25 (except Wednesdays: €20). Free for under 18s, EU residents 18–25, disabled visitors + 1, jobseekers, teachers with French pass, first Sunday of Jan/Feb/Mar/Nov/Dec, military, ICOM/ICOMOS, Ministry of Culture cardholders.
La Conciergerie – Daily 9:30am–6pm (last entry 5:15pm). Closed May 1, Dec 25. Tickets: €13 (adults), Combined with Sainte-Chapelle: €20. Free for under 18s, EU residents 18–25, first Sunday of Nov–Mar, etc.
Flower and Bird Market (Marché aux Fleurs Reine-Elizabeth-II) – Flower market: Monday–Sunday 9:30am–7pm. Bird market: Sundays only, but status is under review due to animal welfare concerns (may be suspended or limited). Please check before visiting for the latest status.
